Hot weather on Tuesday, Cairo: 34C, Alexandria: 31C

 

Meteorologists predict hot weather on Tuesday across Egypt. Milder temperatures are  expected along the north coast, with the most extreme heat in southern Upper Egypt in the daylight hours, growing mild by night.

Temperatures predicted include 31C in Alexandria, 34C in Cairo, 37C in Qena, 38C in Luxor, and 39C in Aswan.

Mist will affect visibility across the country’s northern parts in the morning. Low-level clouds are expected in the north, accompanied by light rainfall.

Winds are expected to be northwestern and moderate. They will be active on South Sinai, Red Sea and the Gulf of Suez, possibly disrupting maritime navigation there.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 to 2 meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to rough, and between 2 to 2.5 meters high. Surface winds will be northwestern for both seas.
