
Local Development Minister Adel Labib said on Sunday that the UAE has pledged LE45 million to provide drinking water, sanitation and electricity for 100 schools and 78 health units in 24 governorates.
He said the armed forces were assigned to build the schools and the units in order to finish them quickly.
The minister said that the money was allocated to the following governorates:
– LE6.4 million has been allocated for 10 schools and four health health units in Giza
– LE4 million for 13 schools and four health units in Sharqiya
– LE3.6 million for 10 schools and two health units in Daqahliya
– LE3.2 million for eight schools and five health units in Minya
– LE3 million for seven schools and five health units in Assiut
– LE2.6 million for four schools and seven health units in Beni Suef
– LE2.6 million for seven schools and three health units in Fayoum
– LE2.6 million for seven schools and three health units in Beheira
– LE2.4 million for four schools and nine health units in Qena
– LE2.2 million for seven schools and three health units in Gharbiya
– LE1.7 million for four schools and four health units in Sohag
– LE1.6 million for four schools and three health units in Damietta
– LE1.6 million for three schools and three health units in Kafr al-Sheikh
– LE1.5 million for four schools and one health unit in Alexandria
– LE1.3 million for three schools and three health units in Menoufia
– LE1.2 million for two schools and three health units in Qaliubiya
– LE500,000 for three health units in North Sinai
– LE500,000 for three health units in Luxor
– LE500,000 for three health units in Aswan
