Mild weather expected on Monday, 22C in Cairo

Meteorologists forecast mild weather during the day on Monday across most of parts, dropping to cooler temperatures once the sun has set and then much colder by the end of the night.

Mist will affect visibility in the morning along northern coasts, Lower Egypt, Cairo and the Suez Canal cities.

Low- and medium-level clouds will appear in the north accompanied by rain along the northeastern coast and the Red Sea mountain chains.

Wind on Monday will be mostly northwesterly and moderate in strength. It will be active across the Red Sea, possibly disrupting navigation.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will range between 1.5 to 2 meters high, while in the Red Sea these will range between 2 to 2.5 meters high. Surface wind will be northwesterly across both seas.

The maximum temperature expected in Cairo is 22C, 20C in Alexandria, 25C in Qena, and 27C in Luxor and Aswan.
