Moderate weather for Egypt on Sunday

Meteorologists predict moderate weather on Sunday during the daytime on Greater Cairo, South Sinai, the Red Sea mountains range and Upper Egypt, with milder weather on Lower Egypt, the northern coasts and central Sinai.

The weather will grow very cold across most parts of the country by nightfall and cold on South Sinai, and Red Sea mountains.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 21C in Alexandria, 25C in Cairo, 27C in Qena and Luxor, and 28C at Aswan.

Mist will affect visibility in the morning hours in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt.

Winds will be mostly northwestern and moderate across most of the country, active on South Sinai and the Red Sea mountains – potentially disrupting maritime navigation in the Red Sea, and the Gulf of Suez.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be low to moderate, ranging between one and 1.5 meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to rough, ranging between 2.5 and three meters in height, with northwestern surface winds on both seas.
