Moderate weather for Egypt on Sunday

Meteorologists predict moderate weather on Sunday during the daytime on Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai, the Red Sea mountains, and northern Upper Egypt, with mild weather expected along the northern coasts and central Sinai, and moderately hot temperatures for southern Upper Egypt.

The weather will grow very cold across most parts of the country by nightfall, and cold on southern Upper Egypt.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 22C in Alexandria, 27C in Cairo, 31C in Qena and Luxor, and 32C in Aswan.

Mist will affect visibility during daytime in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, and northern Upper Egypt.

Winds will be mostly northwestern and moderate across most of the country, active on the Red Sea and the Gulf of Suez, potentially disrupting the maritime navigation there.

Light rainfall is expected on different parts of the northeastern coasts and central Sinai.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be low to moderate, ranging between 1.5 and two meters in height, with northwestern to southwestern surface winds.

Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to rough, ranging between two and 2.5 meters in height, with northwestern surface winds.
