More warm weather for Egypt on Saturday



Meteorologists predict warm temperatures in Cairo and Lower Egypt on Saturday, with moderately warm weather expected along the northwestern coasts and in central Sinai during the daytime as well.

Moderately hot temperatures are predicted in South Sinai, along the Red Sea mountains and in northern Upper Egypt, which should see dusty weather on Saturday. 

Southern Upper Egypt should see hot weather on Saturday as well, with temperatures across the country expected to grow much colder by nightfall.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 20C in Alexandria, 20C in Cairo, and 26C in Qena, and 28C in Luxor and Aswan.

Fog in the morning and light rain are expected along the northern coasts and in central sinai, as well as some areas in Lower Egypt.

Meteorologists expect fog in Greater Cairo and northern Upper Egypt in the morning as well, possibly reducing visibility on the roads. 

Winds will be moderate in Greater Cairo and southern Upper Egypt, with active winds predicted in Lower Egypt, along the northern coast, in central Sinai and South Sinai, and along the Red Sea mountains.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be turbulent, ranging between 2.5 and three meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to turbulent, ranging between three and 2.8 meters in height with northwestern surface winds on both seas.
