Official survey: 84.6% of the citizens are satisfied with Sisi’s performance

Prime Minister Ibrahim Mehleb received a survey conducted by the Information and Decision Support Center in April, indicating that 84.6 percent of the citizens are satisfied with the performance of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, while 72 percent had confidence in the Cabinet.
 
The survey also said that 67 percent feel the country is moving in the right direction due to the efforts to fight terrorism and restore security, the positive results of the Economic Conference, the improved economy and the continuous planning for new projects.
 
However, others expressed reservations on the constantly repeated terrorist operations, the high prices and the reduction of fuel and electricity subsidies.
 
About the security situation, 81 percent said the police are doing their job well and 75 percent said the street has become safer.
 
According to the survey, 53 percent said prices have gone up and 62 percent said streets are relatively clean.
 
With regard to subsidized bread, 71 percent said they rely on it fully, of which 63 percent said it is of excellent quality.
 
As for butane gas cylinders, 91 percent said they buy them from the black market for higher prices.
 
With regard to traffic, 34 percent said streets everywhere are jammed.
 
Mehleb said the government relies on such surveys to improve its performance.
