OSCE: Two Ukrainian journalists kidnapped in Donetsk

The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) representative on the freedom of media Dunja Mijatovic said Saturday in a statement that two Ukrainian journalists were abducted in Donetsk, east Ukraine.
 
Mijatovic urged Kiev government to investigate the incident.
 
Mijatovic's statement, which was published by the OSCE, said editor Boris Yuzhik was kidnapped in Donetsk earlier Saturday, while editor Sergey Dolgov was kidnapped on 18 June. The statement added Dolgov was believed to have been beaten and detained by the Ukrainian special forces.
 
An attack took place on the Pro Gorod newspaper's office in Torez City in Donetsk on 26 June, said the statement.
 
Mijatovic called on Ukrainian authorities to investigate the incidents and bring the perpetrators to justice.
