PM inspects Greco-Roman Museum and its environs in Alexandria

Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly on Saturday directed to swiftly finalize renovations at the Greco-Roman Museum and its environs in preparation for its inauguration.

This cultural edifice reflects the richness and diversity of the Egyptian civilization, he said.

He stressed the state’s interest in developing the museum as part of an integrated plan for upgrading tourist and archaeological sites.

The premier also inspected the museum’s surrounding area and stood on detailed explanation of its development plan.

He directed to paint the museum’s surrounding buildings and install lights similar to that of the Egyptian Musuem in Cairo’s Tahrir Square.
