The Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi congratulated the new Italian Prime Minister Georgia Meloni on her assumption of the post, wishing her his sincere success in leading Italy towards a future in line with its long and proud history.
He also looked forward to working with her to strengthen the Egyptian-Italian bilateral relations through solid partnership that brings Egypt and Italy in all fields, and also invited her to participate in the COP 27 global climate summit in Sharm el-Sheikh in November.
President Sisi added: “I am confident that the friendly Italian Republic is able to play a positive and constructive role during the upcoming summit.”
