Sisi directs to continue implementing plan to improve performance of companies, factories

CAIRO, March 11 (MENA) – President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi ordered to continue implementing a plan to improve the performance of companies and factories, affiliated with the public business sector.

This came during a meeting on Monday with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Public Business Sector Minister Mahmoud Esmat, Presidential Spokesperson Ahmed Fahmi said.

He also directed to continue training programs, raising the efficiency of human resources, and develop marketing policies for companies to raise the volume of local sales and enhance exports.

He also gave directives to focus on establishing partnerships with the private sector, in a way that enhances progress and development efforts in Egypt.

During the meeting, President Sisi was briefed on the government’s efforts to implement the social support package that was recently taken to support workers in the state and the public business sector, taking into account the regulating laws approved by the parliament, to relieve the heavy burdens on citizens and to help reduce the economic impacts.

President Sisi also reviewed the government’s efforts to speed up the implementation of new projects in a number of sectors, including pharmaceuticals, tourism, spinning and weaving, construction, chemical industries, and electric vehicles (EVs), in a way that contributes to catering for the local market needs and raising export rates, within the framework of the State’s support of the national industry and increasing reliance on local products.

The meeting also took up the availability of requirements for production, as well as efforts to promote investment opportunities in various activities and sectors, the spokesman added. (MENA)
