Sisi express solidarity with Jordan’s King Abdullah II in telephone call

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi made a phone call on Sunday to Jordanian King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein to express his support and solidarity.

The spokesperson for the Egyptian Presidency said that Sisi was assured during the call that the situation in Jordan remains stable.

Sisi stressed Egypt’s full solidarity with Jordan and his own support for all all recent decisions taken by King Abdullah II for the sake of preserving the security and stability of the kingdom.

On his end, the Jordanian monarch expressed his sincere appreciation towards President Sisi’s support, which he said embodies the depth and strength of the historical ties between the two close countries and peoples.
