President Abdel Fattah al Sisi, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, inspected on Sunday, June 7, 2026, the Strategic Command Headquarters in the New Capital.
Presidential Spokesman Mohamed al Shenawy said that the surprise inspection visit came as part of the President’s close follow-up of operational readiness and the progress of work at the facility, which represents a major qualitative and quantitative leap in enhancing the capabilities of the Egyptian Armed Forces.
The spokesman added that President al-Sisi also toured the premises of the Egyptian Military Academy, where he met with a number of academy cadets.
During the meeting, the President reviewed the educational system and training programs offered by the academy and held an interactive discussion with the cadets on the training activities they undertake.
President al-Sisi urged them to exert maximum effort, stressing the importance of continuously developing their capabilities to meet future challenges and responsibilities.
