Sports and Youth Minister Ashraf Sobhy has praised the launch of an initiative by the World Youth Forum (WYF) under the rubric “youth for reviving humanity” with an aim to boost peace, security, and the protection of civilians in conflict zones.
The minister on Tuesday 28/11/2023 extended thanks to the WYF over this initiative and efforts to urge all the world activists and influencers who are keen on renouncing violence, spreading the values of tolerance and supporting war and conflict victims to participate in this initiative.
The initiative is part of the pivotal role of the forum in spreading the principles of global peace, development and creativity.
The initiative aims at unifying international and youth efforts to face challenges and enhance efforts exerted to achieve world peace.
This comes within the framework of the keenness of the WYF on presenting support and bringing about peace all over the world.
The “youth for reviving humanity” initiative merges humanitarian support along with political, social and economic efforts to boost peace and security in addition to protecting civilians in conflict zones.
The event runs for three successive days in the Egyptian Red Sea resort city of Sharm el Sheikh and includes a group of effective dialogue sessions.
