Sunny weather expected on Saturday



Meteorologists anticipate hot, sunny weather to continue across Egypt on Saturday.

Milder temperatures are expected along the north coast, with the hottest temperatures in southern Upper Egypt during the daylight hours, growing mild by night.

Temperatures predicted include 32C in Alexandria, 35C in Cairo, 41C in Qena, 42C in Luxor, and 43C in Aswan.

Mist will affect visibility across the country’s northern parts in the morning.

Low-level clouds are also expected in the north.

Winds are expected to be moderate and northwestern, active in the Gulf of Suez and the Red Sea, disrupting the maritime navigation there.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate, ranging between 1.5 to 2 meters in height, while Red Sea waves are expected to be moderate to turbulent, ranging between 2 to 2.5 meters in height.

Surface winds will be northwestern on both seas.
