Temperatures across Egypt to fall by Wednesday

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority expected, on Wednesday, a drop in weather temperatures, so that hot and humid weather will prevail over Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt and northern Upper Egypt, hot and humid weather on the northern coasts, with very hot weather on South Sinai and south of the country.


Maximum temperatures for Wednesday:

Cairo: 35C

Alexandria: 32C

Qena: 39C

Aswan: 40C


A further rise in humidity is expected, increasing the feeling of heat by three to five degrees.

Temperatures at night will be moderate and humid over Greater Cairo and the rest of the country.

Mist is expected in the early morning on some roads leading to Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt and the northern coasts.

Wind will be active on areas of Greater Cairo, the western coasts, South Sinai and northern Upper Egypt at intermittent intervals, which reduces the feeling of high humidity at night.
