Terrorist cell leader with ties to Islamic State arrested in Daqahliya

Daqahliya security services, in collaboration with the National Security Agency, have arrested a leader of a terrorist cell that has links to the Islamic State, according to security sources.
 
The group, which allegedly included six militants, was reportedly charged with recruiting young people to travel to the IS-controlled areas of Libya and Syria.
 
According to primary invstigations, 16 people have travelled to Libya and Syria with the help of the group. The cell's leader, who was in charge of coordinating between members inside and outside Egypt, was arrested in possession of flyers inciting violence and support for the IS. He has been detained pending investigations.
