Three killed in Sohag collision

 
Three people were killed and 24 Central Security Forces soldiers were injured when a police truck and a private vehicle collided in Sohag. 
 
The bodies of the dead and the injured were transferred to nearby hospitals.
 
A government report said that the number of car accidents in Egypt was 15,578 in 2013, up 0.4 percent from a year earlier. 
 
At least 6,716 people lost their lives and 22,411 were injured in road accidents in 2012.
 
Traffic accidents are mainly caused by reckless driving and bad road conditions.
