Higher Education Minister Moataz Khorshid announced on Monday the elections timetable for state university leadership posts, as well as the mechanisms by which elections will be conducted.
Candidates for the elections will be invited to submit their applications from Tuesday for two days, and the names of the candidates are to be announced at the end of the week.
A committee will be elected on 10 September to supervise the elections, while challenges and complaints will be accepted as of 15 September.
Election results will be announced on 25 September, with re-runs taking place on 26 September, the final results of which will be announced the next day.
