Two Brotherhood figures given two-year sentence for hiding Beltagy

The Giza Misdemeanor Court sentenced Sunday Khaled al-Azhary, former manpower minister, and Gamal al-Ashry, former MP, to two years in prison for hiding Muslim Brotherhood figure Mohamed al-Beltagy inside a house in Giza.

The court, however, cleared the house owner Ibrahim Mohamed Ali Farahat.

Giza Prosecution had earlier referred Azhary, Ashry and Farahat to court over charges of hiding Beltagy, who evaded justice after 15 decisions ordering his arrest had been issued.
