Warm, windy weather across Egypt until Thursday

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority predicts warmer weather in the next three days in the governorates of Cairo and Lower Egypt, as well as the cities of the eastern coasts, northern Upper Egypt and South Sinai.

Moderate weather is expected in cities of the western coasts, growing very hot in southern Upper Egypt.

The EMA added that the weather will be more pleasant during the night hours in the north, and moderate in temperature in South Sinai and southern valley governorates until Thursday, October 5.

Active winds are expected over the cities of the northwestern coasts for the next three days, as well as South Sinai and northern Upper Egypt, extending at intermittent intervals to the New Valley Governorate in the Western Desert.

Satellite images show low and medium clouds over the north of the country, expected to be accompanied by light intermittent rains.

Rainfall will include the cities of the northwestern coasts, some areas of the northern governorates of Lower Egypt, and may extend to areas of the Western Desert, the northeastern coasts, as well as central Sinai, the Suez Canal cities, southern Lower Egypt, Greater Cairo and northern Upper Egypt.
