Meteorologists predict slightly hot weather to extend to Upper Egypt on Friday. Hotter weather is expected in the south of Upper Egypt, particularly during the day.
Maximum temperatures predicted on Friday are as follows 35C in Cairo, 30C in Alexandria, 38C in Qena, 39C in Luxor and in Aswan.
Low and medium-level clouds will appear in the north, with mist affecting visibility in the morning. Winds will be mostly northwesterly and moderate. They will be stronger in the Red and Mediterranean seas, possibly disrupting navigation.
Waves in the Mediterranean Sea are expected to range between 2 to 2.5 meters high, and range in the Red Sea between 2.5 to 3 meters high. Surface wind will be northwesterly in both seas.
