According to meteorologists, hot weather is expected to prevail on Monday on the northern coasts of Delta and Cairo.
Visibility will be reduced in the morning due to mist. Low and medium-level clouds will appear above the north coast. Moderate north- westerlies are predicted to blow.
Cairo will reach highs of 38 C. and Alexandria will reach 31 C.
Those north- westerlies will cause waves in the Mediterranean to reach between one to 1.5 meters. South-westerlies will blow on the Red Sea causing heights to reach between 1.5 to two meters.
Upper Egypt will experience extreme heat during the daytime.
Highs of 41 C. will be reached in Qena, 42 C. in Luxor and 43 C. in Aswan.
