Hot and humid weather is expected to prevail on Monday, according to meteorologists.
Highs of 41 degrees centigrade will be reached in Cairo, and 33 degrees in Alexandria.
Extremely hot weather will prevail elsewhere during the daytime. In Upper Egypt, highs of 43 degrees will be reached in Qena and 44 degrees in Luxor and Aswan.
Low-and medium-level clouds will appear over northern coasts. Visibility will be reduced in the morning in the North as result of the mist.
Moderate northwesterlies will blow in the west, which will disturb maritime navigation in the Mediterranean.
The height of Mediterranean waves will reach between 1.5 to 2 meters, meanwhile, southwesterlies will blow over the Red Sea, making the height of its waves reach between 1 to 1.5 meters.
