A civil protection officer and two conscripts were wounded in an armed attack on a police car in the Sad al-Wady district of Arish.
Witnesses said armed men opened fire on the car, injuring Officer Mohamed Hassan and the other two, who were taken to Arish Hospital.
A security source said they suffered only minor injuries
Security forces cordoned off the area looking for the gunmen.
