Six tunnels destroyed in Sinai

Border guards troops destroyed six tunnels between Sinai and Gaza, in addition to seizing weapons and ammunition in Sinai, said armed forces spokesperson Ahmed Mohamed Ali.
 
The tunnels, located under the city of Rafah, were destroyed by the troops who belong to the Second Field Army, in coordination with the Engineering Authority, Ali posted on his official Facebook page.
 
The troops also raided a storage unit in Salah al-Din area, where they found three cars loaded with rocket-propelled grenade launchers, an automatic rifle, 590 trays of agricultural pesticides, six tricycles, three motorcycles, 15 boxes filled with large quantities of motorcycle spare parts and an iron safe.
 
A man was also arrested in possession of remote signal devices. He was referred to prosecution to take the necessary legal procedures.
