6 killed, others wounded in Monufiya fight over gas cylinders

Bloody clashes in a village in Monufiya Governorate left six people dead and several wounded on Sunday following a fight between families who were waiting in line for gas outside butane cylinder distribution centers.

Fire, knives and other weapons were used during the six hour long clash. Security forces were called to break up the fight.

The wounded have been transferred to Monufiya Hospital.
