70-year-old accused of raping child in New Cairo

A six-year-old girl has accused a 70-year-old man of raping her in his apartment in New Cairo.
Prosecutors say the suspect lured the victim into his apartment while she was playing on the stairs and raped her.
The victim’s mother said that she was surprised when her daughter returned home crying, then told her what happened.
The suspect was arrested and is being held in detention for four days pending investigations. He was identified as the perpetrator by the victim, and prosecutors referred her to a forensic medical examination.
