The Finance Ministry has announced that payment of public sector salaries would be delayed from 17 to 24 September due to state budget restrictions.
The ministry has informed all state financial officials in a circular memorandum on Tuesday.
August salaries were disbursed on the 14th, and the ministry had planned to continue doing so for four months.
