Trial of 68 suspects over forming terrorist cell postponed to 31 May

Cairo Criminal Court adjourned on Sunday trial of 68 suspects including Mohamed al-Zawahiri, brother of Al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahri, over forming and running a terrorist group that is linked to Al-Qaeda, to May 31.
 
The court ordered delegating a technical expert to check the content of a CD submitted by prosecution and a USB flash drive submitted by the defense. A report on the contents will be delivered during the next session.
 
Prosecution representative delivered a statement from Tora prison to the court over execution of a suspect called Abdel Rahman Sayyed Rizq, who is involved in the case. The death sentence was made by military court as he was involved in another case at the same time known in media as ‘Arab Sharkas’.
 
The suspects kept in the cage shouted once the details of the letter were declared.
