Upper Egypt train traffic stopped as Brotherhood supporters burn tires

Upper Egypt’s train traffic has been halted at the Beni Heidar village as tires were set on fire on the rails.

Major General Mohamed abu Taleb, Beni Suef's security chief, was notified that a group of Muslim Brotherhood supporters were giving the Rabaa al-Adaweya salute while setting the tires on fire.

Civil protection forces tried to control the fire and prevent it from reaching trains on the rails. Other troops combed the area to arrest the criminals.
