FM reaffirms Egypt’s full solidarity with Oman

Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty reaffirmed Egypt’s full solidarity with Oman and all Arab states in the face of recent attacks, stressing Cairo’s firm support for the sovereignty, security, stability and territorial integrity of Arab countries.

The remarks came during a phone call on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, between Abdelatty and Omani Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi, during which the two sides reviewed the latest regional developments amid the serious and rapidly evolving situation in the region.

The two ministers exchanged views on ways to enhance coordination to contain the current situation.

Abdelatty underscored the need for serious efforts to reduce escalation and tensions, warning of the catastrophic consequences should the region slide into comprehensive chaos.

Both ministers stressed the importance of all parties exercising maximum restraint and prioritizing dialogue as well as political and diplomatic solutions, while fully adhering to the principles of international law and the United Nations Charter, in order to restore stability and prevent the expansion of military confrontation in the region.
