Abducted officials in South Sinai released

South Sinai's military intelligence has received the abducted undersecretary of the Manpower Ministry and four other ministry officials Friday.

The officials were abducted 10 days ago by anonymous kidnappers, a few miles from the Sedr al-Heetan neighborhood in South Sinai.

A military source said that the armed forces tracked the kidnappers in a rugged mountainous area where they hid.

The source claimed that militants in Gaza offered to buy the kidnapped officials for LE6 million, but the kidnappers could not move because of the army siege.
