Ahram chief editor released on bail

The Prosecution decided on Wednesday to release Al-Ahram Chief Editor abdel Nasser Salama on LE5,000 bail.  An investigation is underway on the publishing of news that said that Public Prosecutor Hesham Barakat had decided to detain ousted President Mohamed Morsy for 15 days pending his interrogation on charges of espionage and escaping Wadi al-Natroun Prison.

Ahmed al-Rakeeb, media coordinator of the public prosecution, said that this news published by Ahram on Monday was untrue.
