Amena Khalil, Zafer al-Abidine to perform in Ramadan TV series

Egyptian actress Amena Khalil and Tunisian actor Zafer a-Abidine will participate together in the new TV series “Acacia,” a story taken from a Spanish television series, during Ramadan this year.

The series is produced by Mohammed Mamesh, directed by Hani Khalifa and scripted by Sama Abd al-Khaliq and Ingy al-Qasim.

Khalil has cooperated before with the producing company in playing acting roles in “Grand Hotel,” and “La Totfea Al Shams” (The sun will never set) in Ramadan 2016 and 2017.

Khalil also finished filming scenes of “Al-Badla” (The suit), acted by Egyptian singer Tamer Hosni and TV program presenter Akram Hosni.

Khalil told al-Masry al-Youm newspaper that she is satisfied with her drama television series and movies as she has acted in a few roles within a short time.

The selection of Khalil to play the acting role in “Acacia” came after the actress Yasmin Sabri could not attend the sessions of the series on time due to being busy with other work.
