Egypt, Algeria seek anti-corruption cooperation

Egypt and Algeria signed Monday a cooperation memorandum in the field of corruption combat.

The memo aims to exchange best practices and approaches in the various anti-corruption domains.

It also includes cooperation with regard to training, expertise exchange, enhancing personnel capabilities and developing academic curricula.

Effective approaches to weed out corruption and participation in joint relevant workshops, seminars and conferences were also among the articles which came high in the agreement.

The memo was signed by Egypt's Administrative Control Authority(ACA) Deputy Chairman Mohamed Hossam Mohamed and Chairman of Algeria's National Corruption Prevention and Control Organization Brahim Bouzeboudjen.
