Egypt to import 35 cargoes of LNG from Russia’s Gazprom

Egypt state company EGAS has signed a deal to import 35 cargoes of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from Russia's Gazprom over five years, the Petroleum Ministry said.

Under terms of the agreement, Gazprom will start shipments in the second half of 2015, with seven cargoes arriving per year, it said.
