Egypt’s Jewish leader responds to ‘Jewish Quarter’ TV series

Nadia Haroun, head of the Jewish community in Egypt, posted on Facebook the following five comments on the TV series “The Jewish Quarter” currently broadcast on Satellite channels:

1. In the scene inside the temple during the air raid, the books were not seen on the pulpit.

2. Entrances of buildings in the Jewish Quarter were not as luxurious as they seemed in the series.

3. Not everyone at that time had electric refrigerators, especially in the Jewish Quarter.

4. There were no miniskirts at the time.

5. The communist Jews did not try to turn the youth into Zionists.
