Hot, humid weather across Egypt for Sunday

Meteorologists expect moderate weather for the northern coasts on Sunday, with hot and humid weather across Cairo and Lower Egypt up until north Upper Egypt, with very hot in Upper Egypt during the daytime.

The weather will grow milder at night across the country.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 32C in Alexandria, 37C in Cairo, 39C in Qena, 40C in Luxor, and 41C in Aswan.

Mist will affect visibility in the morning in the northern parts of the country, with low-level clouds anticipated.

Winds will be mostly northwestern and moderate, active at the northern coasts and the Gulf of Suez, disrupting maritime navigation there.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 to two meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be moderate to rough and range between two to 2.5 meters, with northwestern surface winds on both seas.
