Judicial source: Court to allow pleas in Brotherhood dissolution case

The Supreme Administrative Court will allow pleas for the lawsuits demanding the dissolution of the Muslim Brotherhood, said a judicial source from the court’s technical office, who added that a ruling may be issued Tuesday.

The State Lawsuits authority had earlier requested that Farid Nazeeh, head of the court, allow pleas to be entered in the 14 lawsuits against the Brotherhood.

The request also included legal memorandum referring to new documents in the lawsuits, the most important of which is a document saying that the group was declared an NGO by the Ministry of Social Solidarity after the court postponed the ruling until Tuesday.

The authority also attached an official copy of the ministry decision, which is number 644 for the year 2013.
