Meteorological Authority warns of rapid spring shifts as temperatures rise

The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) on Sunday forecast warm morning conditions shifting to hot daytime temperatures across Greater Cairo, the Nile Delta, and Upper Egypt. Meanwhile, scorching, intensely hot weather is expected to prevail over southern Upper Egypt.

While daytime conditions remain hot, temperatures will drop overnight, bringing moderate to chilly weather across most parts of the country during the late-night and early-morning hours.

Weather maps reveal a continued and significant spike in temperatures across southern Upper Egypt, where highs are projected to hit between 37°C and 38°C. Meanwhile, daytime highs in Greater Cairo will fluctuate between 30°C and 32°C throughout the week.

The EMA emphasized the importance of monitoring daily weather bulletins, particularly given the rapid and sudden atmospheric shifts characteristic of the spring season, to avoid any unexpected fluctuations.
