“MO SA-LA-LA-LALAH” book published, presenting political view on Salah

Al-Ain publishing house published on Thursday Egyptian journalist Hamdy Rezq’s book “MO SA-LA-LA-LALAH,” recounting the biography of Liverpool’s Egyptian striker Mohammed Salah and providing a political view on Salah’s journey through various European clubs including Switzerland’s Basel, Italy’s Fiorentina and Rome, and England’s Chelsea and Liverpool.

Rezq’s book title quotes Liverpool fans’ song “MO SA-LA-LA-LA-LAH”. Salah’s photo with the motto “NEVER GIVE UP”, which embodies Salah’s global ambitions, is on the book cover.

Rezq explains the temporal and spatial factors that helped Salah win the premier league and Federation International de Football Association’s (FIFA) prizes.

He reviewed Salah’s attitudes toward his nationality and his political aims, including his charity work and the rejection of his use for anti-Egypt propaganda.

The Egyptian psychiatrist Ahmed Okasha wrote the book’s introduction, describing Salah’s humanity.

Salah scored 32 Premier League goals last season, making it to the finals. The Egyptian star was granted the PFA Player of the Year award ahead of Manchester City title-winner Kevin De Bruyne.

Star Salah won African Player of the Year for the second year consecutively in 2018. He is the fourth African player to snatch this title back-to-back, following El Hadji Diouf, Samuel Eto’o, and Yaya Touré.
