Moderately hot weather for Egypt on Saturday



Meteorologists predict moderately hot weather on Saturday in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai, the Red Sea mountains and northern Upper Egypt.

Milder temperatures are predicted for the northeastern coast and central Sinai, with very hot weather in southern Upper Egypt.

Temperatures will be cold at night in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, central Sinai, and on the northwestern and northeastern coasts, with milder temperatures in South Sinai, the Red Sea mountains and northern Upper Egypt.

Light rain is predicted for different areas of Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the north coast, and central Sinai.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are 25C in Alexandria, 21C in Cairo, 30C in Qena, 31C in Luxor, 32C in Aswan.

Mist is expected in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northeastern coast and central Sinai.

Moderate winds are also predicted nationwide, and will be active in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, some areas in southern Upper Egypt, along the northwestern and northeastern coasts, in central Sinai and in northern Upper Egypt. Dust and wind are expected in South Sinai and in the Red Sea mountains, leading to the disruption of maritime navigation in the Red Sea.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be moderate to rough, ranging between two and 2.5 meters in height, while waves in the Red Sea will be turbulent, ranging between two and three meters, with northwesterly surface winds in both seas.
