Trial of Badie, 47 others over blocking Qalyoub road adjourned to 2 April

Shubra al-Kheima Criminal Court adjourned on Saturday the trial of 48 Muslim Brotherhood suspects including former supreme guide of the group Mohamed Badie, pro-MB preacher Safwat Hegazy, and MB leader Mohamed al-Beltagy, on charges of blocking the agricultural road of Qalyoub city in July
 
Prosecutors claim the defendants blocked the road, directly causing the death of two and injuring 30.
 
The trial was postponed upon the defense team request to examine reports.
 
They are accused of inciting violence, blocking the road, joining a terrorist group that calls for spreading violence, immobilizing traffic, damaging public and private properties, possessing weapons and intimidating the public.
