Urban Planning Authority to develop Qanatir Khaireya city into resort

The chairman of the Urban Planning Authority Alaa Abdel Fattah announced that a strategic plan is underway to develop the city of Qanatir Khaireya in Qalyubiya governorate, ensuring the proper exploitation of existing resources to attract investors.

During his visit to the city yesterday, Abdel Fattah said that the Governor of Qalyubiya Alaa Abdel Halim would discuss an integrated study aimed at developing Qanatir Khaireya city, putting it on the tourist map by turning it into a resort.

Abdel Fattah added that the strategy includes many levels, the first of which is preparing data. The project seeks tourism development of the city by highlighting its historical potential and it’s rural characteristics, he continued.

The unique aspects of Qanater Khaireya make it an ideal location to become a center for tourism and investment among all classes of society, Abdel Fattah explained.
