The Foreign Ministry said preliminary count indicates that 265,000 Egyptian expatriates have cast their votes in the presidential election until Sunday afternoon.
Egyptians abroad have from 15 to 19 May to cast their votes.
Competing in the race are Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, the former defense minister, and Hamdeen Sabbahi, the founder of the Popular Current.
