Brotherhood website: Medical supplies at Rabaa al-Adaweya field hospital have run out

The Muslim Brotherhood's website ikhwanonline.net has stated that the field hospital in Rabaa al-Adaweya is no longer able to receive victims from the clashes that broke out on Saturday morning because its medical supplies have run out.

The Brotherhood said at least 31 people were killed early on Saturday after security forces attacked a protest staged by supporters of ousted President Mohamed Morsy.

The Brotherhood's website said that the field hospital is transferring all victims of the clashes to nearby hospitals.

The website described the clashes which took place near the Unknown Soldier Monument in eastern Cairo as a "systematic genocide,” adding that more than 120 people were killed and 4,500 others injured.

The website also said that internet service and communications were cut off in Rabaa al-Adaweya to cover up the “massacre.”

Gehad al-Haddad, Brotherhood spokesperson, had earlier said that the security forces were shooting to kill the protesters as evidenced by the fact that they were shooting them in the head and chest.
