Five FJP members in Sohag officially resign

Five Sohag based members of the Freedom and Justice Party, the political arm of the Muslim Brotherhood, have resigned from the party in official police records.

The former MB members justified their decision by saying, "Party leadership has got involved in acts of sabotage and terrorism in the country, and have performed acts out of the political framework."

Dozens of FJP members have reportedly left the political party recently in several provinces. Many members of the Brotherhood now are backing away from the organization as the Egyptian government now brands it as terrorist organization, accusing it of backing attacks on police, army and public facilities.
