Gradual increase in temperatures on Tuesday, Cairo 39C

Meteorologists expect a gradual increase in temperatures starting Tuesday in Egypt. Moderate weather is expected for the northeastern coasts and hot weather is expected in the northwestern parts of the country, while very hot temperatures will prevail across all parts of Egypt during the daytime. The weather will grow milder at night across the country.

Temperatures predicted for the following cities are: 33C in Alexandria, 39C in Cairo, and 41C in Qena, Luxor, and Aswan.

Mist will impact visibility in the morning in the northern parts of the country, with low- and medium-level clouds anticipated.

Winds will be mostly northeastern and moderate, active in Cairo, northern Upper Egypt, and the Gulf of Suez, and may disrupt the maritime navigation there.

Waves in the Mediterranean Sea will be low to moderate and range between 1 to 1.5 meters in height, with northeastern to southeastern surface winds.

Waves in the Red Sea will be moderate and range between 1.5 to 2 meters, with northwestern surface winds.
