Spain lifts travel ban on Sharm al-Sheikh

The Spanish Foreign Ministry had lifted travel ban to the city of Sharm al-Sheikh, stipulating commitment to reaching the city through Sharm al-Sheikh International Airport.

The newsletter, which was circulated by the Spanish Embassy in Cairo on Saturday, mentioned that the Spanish tourists can visit tourist sites in Luxor and Aswan and resorts on the Red Sea.

Ireland and Germany also recently lifted travel bans to Sharm al-Sheikh, which authorities credited to intensive diplomatic efforts.
